FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

How are goods shipped?

The goods are shipped from Germany via Deutsche Post registered airmail. We have been using this method for many years as it is safe, fast and relatively inexpensive. Larger packages, such as those containing multiple assembly kits, are shipped via DHL or FedEx.

What does shipping cost?

Shipping is included in the price of all items in our BOX73.COM online shop. No additional shipping and handling costs will be added at the end of your transaction.

Why does Box 73 GmbH offer so few assembly kits in the BOX73.COM online shop?

Unfortunately, we don't have English manuals for all of the assembly kits that you can find on BOX73.DE. However, we also only want to sell those assembly kits that have given our customers virtually no problems in the past, as any defective assembly kit would have to be returned to Germany for repair.

The kits we do offer have already been sold in large quantities in Germany and our customers only seldom had problems with construction or start-up.

Where can I find reviews of the assembly kits?

Please check to see if you can find your desired kit on EHAM.NET. An in-depth review of the FiFi SDR kit can be found in QST 9/2013.

How can I order the parts and kits that you offer in the larger German online shop?

If you want to buy only a single item you could send us a fax (+49-30-44 66 94 69) or use our contact form.

State your name and address, alongside the article number and name of the item you wish to purchase. Please do not forget your email address so we can mail you a receipe with detailed paying instructions.

Be advised that as an non-EU customer you don't have to pay the 19% VAT, so prices will slightly differ. Alternatively, if you'd like to buy a number of items, it might be more convenient to register yourself as a customer in our German online shop. The only difficulty this might present is that the site is german language only.
